“We had Christopher and his crew, Ryder, Iven, and Hans, empty the
contents of two storage units and move most items into a third in
another town. There were maybe twenty to thirty pieces of furniture
and sixty to eighty cardboard boxes, some of which they brought to a
place for donations and others they set aside for us to take home.
All these tasks were done carefully, patiently, and efficiently, in
much less time than we had imagined possible. They work fast,
cooperatively, and very amiably.
Christopher is an excellent leader. He worked tirelessly and
intelligently, setting an example for his whole crew. One of the crew
was new to the work, and Christopher gave him real guidance–not
simply saying “Just follow my moves” but briefly giving the reason for
doing something, making it clear why that was a good idea. The move
into the new storage unit was done quickly and sensibly. In the old
units we had very poor access to our belongings; Christopher took the
initiative to arrange things so that we have good access in the new
unit. This was unexpected, unrequested, but deeply appreciated!
We can’t imagine any way the move could have been done better. All
the administrative work before the move was also fully professional
and cordial; the office staff explained the process clearly, all our
issues and concerns were spelled out in the contract, and everything
promised was delivered.
